Stu thanks for reading and your kind words. It’s taken a lot of thought to try and work out ‘stuff’ while trying to keep it straightforward. Really appreciate your feedback x
Highly, highly perceptive article which really resonates… Thank you! I do happen to have children but don’t think of them as ‘legacy’ in that sense. Having released a debut album at 57 (last year) and continued that in 2024 with more songs, poems and now short stories, it might be thought I’m hastily creating an artistic legacy - but weirdly I don’t feel that at all. It’s about living and creating in the here and now - the ONLY thing we humans can do. Everything else (streams, listens, deals, sales) are beyond our control (& even influence, to an extent) and therefore largely irrelevant
Thanks Jack. Really appreciate your kind words and your own story is one of inspiration.
I didn’t start playing bass until I was 47 and you’re right - life is to be lived! Too many people I know have died recently or are fighting diseases… it’s criminal.
If you want to hear the musical expression of this line of thought - have a listen to ‘A Part of Me is Broken - Part 2’ - the final track from our most recent album STARLITE.ONE.
It’s available to listen on Bandcamp - we are only now choosing to release singles on streaming.
We are analogue geeks and release on 180g vinyl and CD - we prefer the meaning and connection these mediums inspire between the artist and the listener - plus the superior sound quality.
Have a good weekend and keep on keeping on! Carpe Diem!!
Great read darling.
Great read puts everything in context without overthinking Stu

Excellent article Suzy. Living in the moment is the KEY to everything. None of the rest matters. Looking forward to seeing you guys sometime soon 😘
Thank you Rhonda. That means a lot, especially as I know you have children. See you 🔜 🙃 x

Correct Jack. It’s all about the moment. Good luck with the music. Much love from Portugal.
