A new place to share ideas

We publish our articles and podcasts on VIBES which is hosted by Substack, the home of independent artists and writers such as Patti Smith, Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Salmon Rushdie and Ted Gioia plus interesting blogs such as Led Zeppelin News and The New Cue - former writers for Q Magazine - remember that?

Notes is a new space for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and use it as an alternative to Facebook, Threads and X.

Besides tracking your posts, likes and shares, regular social media sites also collect a long list of data on their users. This doesn’t happen with Notes, which we think is very cool.

We post stuff here that doesn’t fit our normal articles like work-in-progress, links to interesting stuff on YouTube, newspapers and other blogs or quick questions - we would love for you to join us there!

How to join

Head to the Notes tab on our blog or a better way is to find the tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to VIBES, you’ll automatically see our notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!

You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of VIBES can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
