A tribute to Gordon Lightfoot

We were very saddened to hear of the death of Gordon Lightfoot today.

A couple of years ago we came across a video of Gordon singing on the steps of his home celebrating Canada Day. He stood so strong and and at the same time so fragile, his voice beautifully broken and intense. One of the songs he sang in the short set was If You Could Read my Mind - we cried!

In early 2022 we decided to play If You Could Read My Mind on one of our Live Streams and recorded the track with humility and love planning to release the song in July 2023.

We celebrate the life and music of Gordon Lightfoot and have released If You Could Read My Mind today, as our loving tribute to this unique, enigmatic and thoughtful troubadour.
